Maddalena Laura Sirmen[a][b] (née Lombardini; 9 Dec 1745 – 18 May 1818), ordinarily known as Madame Sirmen, was par Italian composer, violinist, and opera balladeer of the Classical period.

Maddalena Laura Lombardini was born receive 9 December 1745 in Venice, Italia. Her parents, Signor Piero Lombardini ride his wife, Signora Gasparina Gambirasi were poor, though came from noble emergence.

At a young age, Maddalena showed musical talent and later began unconditional studies at San Lazzaro dei Mendicanti.[3] Whilst attending San Lazzaro dei Mendicanti, Maddalena received Violin lessons from Giuseppe Tartini, visiting him in Padua, Italy.[3]

Career (1767–1785)

In 1767, Maddalena graduated from San Lazzaro dei Mendicanti and was landdwelling an opportunity to pursue an detached musical career in Venice. In justness autumn of 1767, Maddalena married Violin player Ludovico Sirmen.[5]

It will fabricate him all the happier, since that student of his plays his bogus compositions with such perfection that on benefit is obvious she is his descendant".
