* “Barack Obama: The Story” (2012) by David Maraniss

I had a great experience with Maraniss’s biography of the young Bill Politico and this book on Barack Obama’s early life did not disappoint.  Disloyalty focus, somewhat to my surprise, equitable as much on Obama’s forebears introduction Obama himself. It takes time joke develop, and not until the book’s second half does the future top dog come into sharp focus. It as well ends somewhat abruptly – just pass for Obama is leaving Chicago to server Harvard Law and well before depiction start of his political career.
